<br />AT180 Automatic Transmissions
<br />The components and operation of automatic
<br />transmissions and transaxles is the focus of this
<br />course. Torque converters, planetary gear controls,
<br />linkages, transfer cases, and sensors are among the
<br />components that will be discussed. Electronic
<br />automatic transmissions are reviewed. The student will
<br />be introduced to transmission/transaxle design and
<br />function for hybrid vehicles. The components of four -
<br />and all -wheel drive systems, and their advantages, are
<br />investigated. Diagnosis, disassembly, and reassembly
<br />of systems are highlighted as well. Diagnostic
<br />equipment and tools used with these systems are
<br />reviewed, as are the essentials of shop safety and
<br />accident prevention procedures necessary when
<br />servicing these systems. There are no prerequisites.

<br />AT190 Preventative Maintenance and Hybrid
<br />Technology
<br />Proper preventative maintenance and basic service
<br />procedures and detailed in this course. Hybrid vehicles
<br />are reviewed, including the evolution of hybrid
<br />technology, as well as diagnostic and safety
<br />procedures. Also highlighted Is the role of the
<br />automotive technician within the service facility
<br />Including professional communication techniques,
<br />managing workflow, and working as part of a service
<br />team. Diagnostic equipment and tools used with these
<br />systems are reviewed, as are the essentials of shop
<br />safety and accident prevention procedures necessary
<br />when servicing these systems. There are no
<br />prerequisites.

<br />BA710 Accounting Principles
<br />Students learn the basic accounting concepts and
<br />principles in a computer environment using the
<br />commercial accounting software QuickBooks,
<br />Students will gain proficiency in QuickBooks and basic
<br />bookkeeping functions. AR/AP, Invoicing, collections,
<br />cash receipts, financial statements, balance sheets,
<br />reconciliations. There are no prerequisites.

<br />BA120 MS Excel Fundamentals
<br />In this module students will learn common uses of
<br />Excel in an office environment such as such as creating
<br />address books, mailing lists, inventory lists, and
<br />tracking expenses. Students will learn about functions,
<br />formulas, and charts. Students will identify problems
<br />and structure spreadsheets to solve and display a
<br />solution. There are no prerequisites.

<br />BA130 Spreadsheets for Finance
<br />This module Introduces students to the financial
<br />functionality of Microsoft Excel how to apply those skills
<br />to business applications such as reporting, and the
<br />automation of accounting and financial tasks. Students
<br />will learn the differences between Google Sheets, and
<br />Microsoft Excel. There are no prerequisites.

<br />BA140 Business Applications
<br />In this module's students will be Introduced to various
<br />office applications and use of the applications in a
<br />business environment to create documents,
<br />publications, and complete tasks that require the use
<br />of a word processor. Students will develop proficiency
<br />In Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Apps,
<br />will be explored.

<br />BA160 Office Administration
<br />This module includes practical training in basic
<br />business functions of office operations Working
<br />knowledge of office equipment, like multifunction
<br />printer's mailroom equipment, shredder, and
<br />projectors. Students will learn how to schedule and set
<br />up meetings, business travel and office inventory.

<br />BA160 Customer Service & Ethical Business
<br />Practices
<br />In this module students will learn about effective
<br />customer service with Internal and external customers.
<br />Students will develop proficiency in Microsoft Outlook,
<br />learn conflict resolution methods, structuring
<br />information, problem solving, general practices in
<br />business etiquette (avoiding controversial subjects,
<br />discrimination). There are no prerequisites.

<br />BA170 Communications
<br />Students will learn the principles and styles of effective
<br />written and verbal business communications and group
<br />presentations. Students will develop proficiency in
<br />Microsoft PowerPoint, Skype, and typing skills and
<br />learn to effectively use graphical representation,
<br />concise language, impactful body language, and voice
<br />tone when presenting & communicating and text and
<br />phone etiquette. There are no prerequisites.
<br />Module 6.65 units 260 extern hours
<br />BA190 Externship (ACCET Accredited Campuses)
<br />Externship Is the final module following successful
<br />completion of classroom training and is designed to
<br />provide a realistic workplace environment in which the
<br />student will refine technological, procedural, decision -
<br />making, and interpersonal skills. On the job
<br />externships are completed in approved facilities that
<br />provide students with the opportunity to apply the
<br />knowledge and skills acquired during the training
<br />program. Externs work under the directed supervision
<br />of school personnel and are evaluated on skill
<br />performance, subject knowledge, professionalism, and
<br />participation/attendance. All absences during the
<br />externship must be made up. Externship evaluations
