Using the network for any activity or to transmit
<br />any material that violates federal, state, or local
<br />Laws. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal
<br />activities, such as threatening the safety of another
<br />person or peer -to -peer file sharing of copyrighted
<br />materials,
<br />Using vulgar, derogatory, or obscene language.
<br />Users may not engage in personal attacks, harass
<br />another person, or post private information about
<br />another person.
<br />Logging on to another person's account or
<br />attempting to access another user's files, with or
<br />without that person's permission.
<br />"Hacking" or otherwise trying to gain access to
<br />another person's or organization's computer
<br />system.
<br />Engaging in "spamming" (sending an email to more
<br />than io people at the same time) or participation in
<br />chain letters.
<br />Intentionally damaging any computer hardware or
<br />software.
<br />Computer and network resources are of significant
<br />value, and their abuse can have a negative effect on
<br />other users. Noncompliance with this policy may result
<br />in loss of computer and network privileges, suspension,
<br />and/or withdrawal from school.
<br />Social Media Use Policy
<br />This policy addresses the use of social media sites by
<br />Concorde students, whether or not the use involves the
<br />Colleges WiFi network or other computer resources.
<br />Social media includes, but is not limited to: texting,
<br />blogs and social media platforms such as Snapchat,
<br />Twitter, Facebook, Linkedln, Instagram, Google+,
<br />YouTube, Flickr, and Yammer.
<br />Concorde is aware that members of the College
<br />community may wish to express their personal ideas,
<br />thoughts, and opinions through their private social
<br />media accounts (not administered by the College),
<br />Nevertheless, Concorde students are expected to
<br />conduct themselves in a professional manner at all
<br />times. Concorde reserves the right, under
<br />circumstances it deems appropriate and subject to
<br />applicable laws and regulations, to impose disciplinary
<br />measures, such disciplinary measures include dismissal
<br />from the College for students who use social media in
<br />violation of the guidelines in this policy, in ways that
<br />reflect poorly on the College, or interferes with the
<br />education of other students and/or the operation of the
<br />College. In appropriate cases, the conduct may also be
<br />reported to law enforcement authorities.
<br />In connection with the use of social media, the conduct
<br />Listed below is prohibited:
<br />Using social media to harass, threaten, insult,
<br />defame or bully another person or entity,
<br />Making threats of injury to any student, patient,
<br />member of faculty or staff, or officer or board
<br />member, including threats concerning their
<br />respective family members or personal property.
<br />Making comments that insult, disparage,
<br />disrespect or defame the College or members of
<br />the Concorde community.
<br />Making discriminatory or harassing comments that
<br />violate federal or state law and/or would be
<br />prohibited by Concordes anti -discrimination / anti -
<br />harassment policy and/or Title IX policy.
<br />Violating any intellectual property law, such as
<br />copyright, trademark, fair use and/or financial
<br />disclosure law.
<br />Posting or sharing copyrighted content (such as
<br />text, video, graphics or sound files) without
<br />permission from the holder of the copyright.
<br />Posting or sharing trademarked content (such as
<br />Logos, names, brands, symbols and designs)
<br />without permission from the trademark owner. The
<br />"0' symbol indicates that the mark is federally
<br />registered and the owner has the exclusive right to
<br />use it. The "TM and SM" symbols Indicate that the
<br />owner may have common-law rights, but the mark
<br />is not federally registered.
<br />Posting or sharing, a photograph or video image of
<br />a student, faculty or staff member without
<br />obtaining their permission.
<br />Posting or sharing a photograph or video of a
<br />patient or volunteer that would violate the Health
<br />Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
<br />(HIPAA).
<br />Posting images or comments which are vulgar or
<br />obscene, or would otherwise violate any
<br />applicable law.

<br />Confidentiality Statement
<br />The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
<br />(HIPAA) is the law that applies to physicians regarding
<br />the completely confidential nature of patient
<br />information and applies to all Concorde students and
<br />employees. Except where necessary in the regular
<br />course of business, the discussion, transmission, or
<br />narration in any form of any patient information of a
<br />personal nature, medical or otherwise, obtained in the
<br />regular course of the student's schooling or
<br />employment is strictly forbidden. Any violation of this
<br />professional rule shall constitute grounds for severe
<br />disciplinary action, including possible termination of the
<br />enrollment contract and dismissal from the College.
<br />Graduation Requirements

<br />students upon successful completion of all academic
