DANOFF'S OPPOSITION TO ANY ABATEMENT ASSESSMENT & <br />REQUEST FOR AN ACCOUNTING OF ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE ABOVE <br />REFERENCED PROPERTY AND AN ITEMIZATION OF THE ALLEGED <br />$17,116.27 INCURRED IN COSTS <br />Dear Mayor and City Council Members, <br />I, Edward R. Danoff, oppose the imposition of an assessment for any uncollected costs <br />allegedly incurred by the City of Santa Ana for the alleged "Abatement of Dangerous and <br />Abandoned Building Program" at AP# 398-523-07, 1323 North Broadway. <br />Please be advised that no one ever removed any property and/or abated any alleged <br />nuisance at AP# 398-523-07, 1323 North Broadway. I am hereby requesting an inventory and <br />accounting of any and all items allegedly removed from 1323 North Broadway along with any and <br />all photos of the items removed on the day(s) in question. <br />I am further requesting an itemized accounting of the $17,116.27 assessment the City of <br />Santa Ana is claiming they allegedly incurred in costs for the removal or abatement of an alleged <br />nuisance at AP# 398-523-07, 1323 North Broadway. <br />Not finding any violations at AP# 398-523-07, 1323 North Broadway, the City personnel <br />then drove around the corner to another property I own identified as AP# 398-523-16, 1322 <br />North Sycamore and proceeded to remove personal property of mine at this different address and <br />without a warrant for the same. On August 2, 2022, Santa Ana Code Enforcement Officer <br />Alejandro Rodriquez, along with other Santa Ana City employees and contractors, without any <br />lawfully executed Inspection and Abatement Warrant, trespassed by entering the real property <br />owned by Edward R. Danoff , the Claimant herein, located at 1322 North Sycamore, Santa Ana, <br />California, Assessor's Parcel Number 398-523-16, and unlawfully removed and dismantled <br />
