35. Ordinance Second Reading: Adoption of Ordinance for the addition of two positions <br />for residents aged fifty-five (55) years and older on the Parks, Recreation, and <br />Community Services Commission. <br />First reading at the June 20, 2023 City Council meeting, approved by a vote of 7-0. <br />Published in the Orange County Reporter on July 7, 2023. <br />Department(s): <br />Recommended Action: Place ordinance on second reading and adopt amending <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code Chapter 2, Article IV, Division 4, Section 2-333 to <br />add two positions for residents aged fifty-five (55) years and older on the Parks, <br />Recreation, and Community Services Commission. <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-3049 —AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2- <br />333 RELATING TO MEMBERSHIP OF THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION (includes determination that this <br />ordinance is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines <br />because it will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical <br />change to the environment as there is no possibility it will have a significant effect <br />on the environment and it is not a "project," as defined in Section 15378 of the <br />CEQA Guidelines). <br />
