Of particular
significance at the conference is the Annual Business Meeting where Cal Cities
provides member cities, like the City of Santa Ana, an opportunity to consider and act
on resolutions that establish Cal Cities policy.
To expedite the conduct of business, every city is required to designate a voting
representative and up to two alternates who will represent the City at the League
Business Meeting (Exhibit 1). These designations must be made by City Council action.
Cal Cities bylaws indicate that each city is entitled to one vote to take a position on
matters affecting municipal or Cal Cities policy as referenced in Exhibit 1.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
EXHIBIT(S)
1.
