Orozco, Norma
From: Jenny Hazen <
Sent: Tuesday, July 18, 2023 6:24 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Public Comment re: Flower/Heliotrope Alley
To whom it may concern:
We live at in Floral Park. It has been brought to our attention that there is a pending
opportunity to have the alley between North Flower and Heliotrope Street permanently closed. We fully support
this decision. While I have used this alley a few times while enjoying a walk in the neighborhood, I have also
had a few dangerous encounters with cars jetting out onto Heliotrope from the alley without looking, causing
near collision during my morning commute. We fully support closing this alley down as it is unnecessary, and
the closure of this alley would bring a larger benefit to the safety of our neighbors and neighborhood in general.
Please let me know if I can assist further in the closure of this alley, or if you have any additional questions or
concerns.
Thank you for your time,
Jenny Hazen
z
