Human Options/OVW Improving Criminal Justice Responses OVW-2022-171037 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br />Santa Ana shall submit invoices to Human Options not more often than monthly and <br />not less frequently than quarterly for allowable costs. Invoices shall be reimbursed within <br />forty-five (45) days of receipt. Reimbursement of funds shall not exceed the allocated <br />grant amount, as indicated in the approved OVW ICJR Budget. <br />3. Term <br /> Although pending review, once Human Options receives clearance to proceed with respect <br />to the budget for the grant, the term of this MOU will be as follows: Performance Period and <br />Budget Period for the grant will be deemed to have commenced since the last funding cycle, <br />or October 1, 2022, and, the Performance Period and Budget Period for this grant will end on <br />September 30, 2025. Once approved, the City will be permitted to seek reimbursement for <br />expenses incurred in connection with this grant commencing on October 1, 2022. <br />4. Commitment to Partnership. <br />1) The service area includes the City of Santa Ana. <br />2) The partners agree to collaborate and strengthen legal advocacy service programs and <br />other victim services for victims of domestic violence, including strengthening <br />assistance to victims in immigration matters pursuant to the Project Description in the <br />grant Award and subject to the conditions and limitations set forth, attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A. <br />3) Compensation for each partner’s contribution to this project will be provided, as <br />outlined in the attached OVW budget detail worksheet, attached hereto as Exhibit B.
