FY 2022 Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women Grant Funds <br />August 1, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />3 <br />6 <br />1 <br />5 <br />submitted a grant application to the United States Department of Justice Office on <br />Violence Against Women and was later awarded $500,000 for the period performance <br />of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2025. Human Options is the lead agency for <br />this program and the Santa Ana Police Department is the criminal justice agency <br />partner that will investigate domestic violence cases. The Santa Ana Police Department <br />was awarded $210,000 for its partnership efforts. <br />In partnership with Human Options, the Santa Ana Police Department will use this <br />award to assist with the implementation of the Collaborative's project, specifically, by <br />providing funds for police officer overtime and training.
