Approve an appropriation adjustment to recognize Southern California Edison <br />Streetlights Energy Credit in an amount of $863,899 in the Public Works/ <br />Miscellaneous revenue account, and appropriate the same amount to the PWA <br />Street Lighting, Improvements Other than Buildings expenditure account. <br />(Requires five affirmative votes) <br />2. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Capital Improvement <br />Program to include $863,899 of funding in Southern California Edison Energy <br />Cost Refund Funds for Streetlight Upgrades. <br />3. Award a construction contract to Baker Electric & Renewables LLC, the lowest <br />responsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $597,000, <br />for construction of the Streetlight Poles Replacement Project, for the term <br />beginning June 20, 2023, and ending upon project completion, and authorize the <br />City Manager to execute the contract subject to non -substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br />4. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $863,899, which includes $597,000 for the construction contract, $117,649 for <br />contract administration, inspection and testing, and a $149,250 project <br />contingency for unanticipated or unforeseen work. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On April 4, 2017, the City Council approved a purchase and sale agreement authorizing <br />the acquisition of approximately 7,800 streetlights by the City of Santa Ana from <br />Southern California Edison (SCE) for the purpose of retrofitting them with light -emitting <br />
