2022-2025 MOU City of Santa Ana & SEIU Full-Time Employees Unit Page 33 <br />5.11 Water Certification Pay <br />Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of this 2022-2025 MOU, <br />employees shall be eligible for Water Certification Pay according to the following <br />provisions: <br />A. Employees who possess a Water Distribution Certificate that is higher than the <br />Water Distribution certification level required for their classification shall receive <br />payment based on the following levels achieved. <br />Distribution 2 = one hundred dollars ($100) per month <br />Distribution 3 = two hundred dollars ($200) per month <br />Distribution 4 = three hundred dollars ($300) per month <br />Distribution 5 = four hundred dollars ($400) per month <br />B. Employees who possess a Water Treatment Certificate that is higher than Water <br />Treatment certification level required for their classification shall receive payment <br />based on the following levels achieved. <br />Treatment 2 = one hundred dollars ($100) per month <br />Treatment 3 = three hundred dollars ($300) per month <br />Treatment 4 = four hundred dollars ($400) per month <br />C. The maximum an employee can receive per month in this section is four hundred <br />dollars ($400) per month. The pay in this section is only available to employees in <br />classifications with minimum qualifications that require a Water Distribution <br />and/or Treatment Certificate. An employee whose classification only requires a <br />Water Distribution certificate cannot receive pay for a Water Treatment Certificate. <br />An employee whose classification only requires a Water Treatment certificate <br />cannot receive pay for a Water Distribution Certificate.
