Absence on sick leave for a period <br />in excess of fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days, in any one (1) calendar month, shall <br />not be considered as service time for vacation accrual purposes. <br />Management Vacation Benefit. <br />A.Employees covered by this MOU will be granted sixty-five (65) hours year of <br />Management Vacation per calendar year. <br />1.Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of this <br />2022-2024 MOU, the City shall deposit an additional fifteen (15) hours into <br />each employee’s Management Vacation bank. <br />2.Effective January 1, 2024, employees will be granted eighty (80) hours of <br />Management Vacation per calendar year. <br />Such management vacation is in addition to the vacation accrual table in Section <br />9.2(A), subject to a maximum accrual of thirty (30) days (two hundred forty (240) <br />hours). <br />9.6 Management Vacation Pay Option. <br />A.Employees shall be given the option to receive cash compensation, computed on a <br />straight time basis, in lieu of up to five (5) eight (8) hour working days of earned, <br />unused Management Vacation benefits. Upon City Council approval of this 2022- <br />2025 MOU, employees may cash out Management Vacation leave up to a total of <br />eighty (80) hours in accordance with the provisions in Section 9.2(F)(3). <br />SANTA ANA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (SAMA) MOU: 2022-2025 28
