The intent of this RFP is to have several consultants under contract to be available to
provide services, on -call, if the City shall need them. In executing a Professional Services
Agreement with the selected frm(s), the City does not guarantee any Task Orders will be
initiated during the life of the contract.
All work performed under this contract will require a Request to Release Notice to Proceed
(RRNTP) by the City. On a project -by -project basis, a proposal will be requested from all On -
Call Consultants by the City's Project Manager or Contractor Adnifi-iistrator. Proposals shall
define the scope of services, include a work plan, schedule, and proposed fee, which shaft be
based on the specified rates of compensation in the contract. The Project Manager/Contract
Administration will review all proposals and select one firm for the work based on fee,
availability, area of experience, and fair distribution of assigned work to all Consultants.
City of Santa Ana RFP 22-097
PageAl-3
