Statement of Qualifications <br />Santa Ana Centennial Park RVA and CEQA/NEPA Details/Images on page A-69 <br />PlaceWorks performed Recreational Value Assessment (RVA) and documented one of the main <br />components of the Federal Lands to Park Lands Exchange Requirement —justification of public <br />recreational utility of the land proposed for exchange and its replacement. The report provides an <br />analysis of the combined recreational value of three proposed sites in comparison with the CEC Site <br />at Centennial Park and includes a site analysis; review of policies, plans, and trends; community <br />park need analysis; recreational opportunities and constraints analysis; and conclusion, which <br />demonstrates that the three proposed replacement properties (McFadden Site, 6th Street Site, and <br />Raitt Street Site) would provide equal or greater recreational value. <br />Highlights Successfully satisfied the National Parks Service's complex criteria for transferring <br />land use restrictions from the CEC site to three very different new park sites <br />located in different socio-economic areas of the city. <br />Location Santa Ana, California <br />Year Completed 2018 (Value Assessment) 12020 (CEQA/NEPA) <br />Client Contact Ron Ono, Administrative Services Manager, City of Santa Ana I Retired <br />Proposal for Services - PLACEWORKS 1 -19 <br />
