Scope of Services <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SERVICES <br />The following Draft Scope of Services outlines the various tasks associated with the preparation of <br />improvement plans for a variety of community projects. We have included an optional service that <br />outlines a public workshop process that we have utilized successfu.11y for numerous community <br />projects. Tasks and methodology elow are based upon our experience with similar projects. Our <br />proposed scope of work i s eneral in nature to give you some idea of the design process we envision. <br />This is a "Draft" approach Zt is subject to review and refinement per City comments and direction. <br />In collaboration with City staff, our Design Team shall review, elaborate upon, and clarify the overall <br />objectives for the development of your project. <br />PHASE 1.0 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br />1. Project Familiarization (research, site reconnaissace, opportunities and constraints) <br />2. Prepare a Draft Scope of Work and anticipated Schedule <br />3. Meet with City and Design Team to review scope of work and refine as necessary <br />4. "Taking Part" Community Workshop (Optional Service) —can be provided in a "virtual" <br />format <br />S. Commence preparation of Preliminary Design (including plans and cost estimate) <br />6. Meet to review Preliminary Plans/Cost Estimate and revise as necessary per City <br />comments <br />7. Prepare for and attend community/public presentation as desired by City <br />8. Refine Preliminary plans based on public comments and City direction <br />9. Prepare for and attend public review meeting to obtain City approval <br />PHASE 2.0 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT <br />1. Based upon approved Preliminary Plan, prepare Design Development Plans 'Indicating <br />the proposed site components. Provide plan enlargements and catalog cut sheets to <br />clearly define all site elements. <br />2. City to review and approve Design Development Plans, plan enlargements, and <br />catalog cut sheets, to evaluate project goals, budget, and long term maintenance <br />considerations. <br />3. Based on the nature and complexity of the project, we shall assist the City in securing <br />the services of a Construction Management firm with the desired level of expertise in the <br />specific type of project. <br />PHASE 3.0 - CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />This phase of a oject consists of the preparation of the construction documents to include final <br />drawings, specirications, calculations, and final cost estimates based upon the approved Preliminary <br />Design Plans. Construction drawings will be submitted at 90% complete for review, revised, and <br />finally 100% complete construction drawings will be submitted for city review and approval. <br />Landscape Design/Documentation <br />Services during the Construction Documents Phase consist of preparation of drawings. <br />and specifications based on approved Design Development Documents, Setting forth in <br />detail the landscape requirements for the project including: <br />a.
