The master plan process
included an extensive public outreach process that included
multiple workshops, stakeholder meetings, and online
community surveys —capturing hundreds of points of input
from park users and neighbors. The public input led to
a design that is intended to activate the park seven -days
per week to improve park safety and reclaim the space
for families. The final plan includes on-streeE perimeter
parking, a non-competitive swim center, a skate park, multi -
generational zone with durable game tables, corn hole,
bocce ball and basketball. The park features a synthetic, and
a multi -use sport field. The major spaces are tied together
with pedestrian promenades, play areas, picnic areas, and
expressions of public art.
12 rrrm
