TASK 5 - BID PHASE SERVICES <br />5.1 Bid Phase Services <br />Mark Thomas will support the city through the bidding process, providing the following: <br />Attendance at pre -bid meeting <br />Respond to inquiries <br />Assist in the preparation of contract addendums <br />Review of submitted bid documents and provide recommendations on for award of construction <br />contract <br />TASK 5 nF1 IVERARI ES: <br />Responses to inquiries <br />Contract addendums <br />Recommendations for award <br />TASK 6 - CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES <br />6.1 Meetings <br />Mark Thomas will attend the pre -construction meeting as well as other construction meetings and field <br />reviews as necessary. <br />6.2 Requests for Information (RFIs) <br />Provide clarification of contract documents and responses to contractor RFIs to the City's construction <br />manager. Plans or details will be revised as necessary. <br />6.3 Shop Drawing/Submittal Review <br />Mark Thomas will review submittals and shop drawings as requested by the construction manager. The <br />review of shop drawings shall include staging and traffic control, contractor's submittals for substitutions, <br />construction contractor's alternative construction approval, and others as requested by the construction <br />manager. <br />6.4 Change Order Assistance <br />Consultant will review proposed change orders and make recommendations as requested by the <br />Construction Manager. This effort may include independent cost estimating and schedule impacts. <br />6.5 As -Built Preparation <br />Mark Thomas will incorporate as -built revisions clouded and noted in the revision block using contractor's <br />record red lines.
