RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Our reputation for providing quality services has been confirmed <br />by our ongoing relationships and extended contracts with <br />agencies throughout the region. Below is a sample of our local <br />relevant experience. <br />On -Call Engineering and Design Services for Public <br />Works Projects I City of Anaheim <br />Contact: Stephen Cruz, Principal Civil Engineer; 714.765.5251; <br />SCruz@anaheim.net <br />Services: Engineering Design <br />Start: 06/2014 Complete: Ongoing <br />Team Members: Anissa Voyiatzes (PIC); Jose Hernandez, PE <br />(PM); Bob Merrell (Drainage); Joe Buckner (Project Engineer); <br />Miguel Hurtado (Design Engineer) <br />Under an as -needed engineering contract, Ardurra has provided <br />engineering design services for various street design projects <br />including the following: <br />Lincoln Avenue Improvements. Provided engineering <br />design services for this widening project, which will widen <br />3,000 feet of Lincoln Avenue from East Street to Evergreen <br />Street. The project widens Lincoln Avenue from a four to <br />six -lane divided street within the project limits. The scope <br />included the removal of <br />existing improvements, <br />clearing and grubbing, <br />excavation, placement <br />of newAC pavement, <br />construction of concrete <br />curb and gutter, driveways, <br />access ramps, sidewalks, <br />bus pads, drainage system <br />improvements, relocation <br />of existing facilities, <br />installation of a traffic <br />signal at the intersection of <br />Lincoln Avenue and La Plaza, traffic signal modifications, <br />signing, striping, landscaping, and a Water Quality <br />Management Plan (WQMP). Landscaped medians along <br />Lincoln Avenue and along the project roadways includes <br />drought -tolerant and low -maintenance plantings and <br />trees. Project successes included streamlining traffic flow, <br />increased drainage capacity and an overall enhanced street <br />appearance. <br />Katella Avenue Widening. Provided PS&E design services <br />to widen the south side of Katella Avenue adjacent to <br />the Anaheim Convention Center. This project included <br />widening Katella; reconstructing a bus turnout; adding <br />water quality structures; reconstructing off -site landscaping, <br />irrigation, fixed bollards, retractable bollards, vehicular <br />maintenance pathway, and decorative hardscape; and <br />installation of two new electronic Changeable Message <br />Signs (VMS/CMS) systems located in the median island. <br />Significant coordination is involved with the various Anaheim <br />departments, as well as with the various utility companies <br />and the Anaheim Convention Center staff. Additionally, <br />provided construction support throughout the construction <br />duration of the project. <br />• Various Utility Design Projects. Prepared the following <br />water, sewer, and electrical plans: 2,000 linear feet of <br />parallel sewer main in Harbor Boulevard; base mapping and <br />utility design for several undergrounding districts; and 700 <br />linear feet of parallel water main in Tustin Avenue. <br />• Tustin Avenue/La Palma Avenue Intersection <br />Improvements. Prepared PS&E for the widening of this key <br />arterial intersection in the City of Anaheim. The $1 0-million <br />project involved the development of a Precise Alignment <br />Plan, Landscape Concept Plan, and legal descriptions. The <br />project included the design of a raised, landscaped median, <br />parkway landscaping in both the City area as well as a large <br />slope in Caltrans right-of-way, and significant redesign of <br />private property improvements impacted by the roadway <br />widening. The approval process included obtaining an <br />easement and encroachment permit from Caltrans. Other <br />elements of the project included the design of significant <br />water, storm drain and retaining wall improvements. <br />La Palma Avenue and State College Boulevard <br />Intersection. Prepared PS&E for the widening of this <br />key arterial intersection in the City of Anaheim. The final <br />Precise Alignment Plan resulted in significant right-of-way <br />cost savings. The project included the design of a raised, <br />landscaped median, bike lanes, parkway landscaping and <br />redesign of private property improvements impacted by the <br />roadway widening. Other elements of the project included <br />the design of private sign relocations, water quality and <br />utility improvements. Ardurra staff developed an alternate <br />alignment which resulted in maximum use of existing excess <br />right-of-way; minimal impacts to existing development; <br />right-of-way cost savings greater than $500,000; and <br />avoided acquisition from gas station. <br />City of Santa Ana I March 14, 2023 <br />On -Call Engineering Services, RFP No. 23-030 <br />//\///" ARDURRA <br />
