EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF WORK <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />David Evans and Associates, Inc. (Client) in collaboration with the City of Santa Ana seeks professional <br />design services for the development of a concrete skatepark at 10th and Flower Park in Santa Ana, <br />California. <br />PHASE 1— DESIGN DEVELOPMENT <br />Task 1.1 Project Kick -Off Meeting — Spohn Ranch and the Client will kick-off the project via an in -person or <br />virtual meeting. We will review the project goals, project schedule and points of coordination. <br />• Task 1.1 Deliverable <br />o Meeting Minutes (PDF) <br />Task 1.2 Information Gathering & Review — During the Project Kick -Off Meeting, Spohn Ranch and the <br />Client will take stock of existing site data, studies and any other information pertinent to the project and <br />project site. We will review existing information and work with the Client to collect additional information <br />as necessary. The site information typically required to begin design work is as follows: <br />• Site survey (AutoCAD) <br />• As -built drawings <br />• Geotechnical report <br />• Any master plan design work or future improvements planned for the site <br />• Any local, state or federal design requirements <br />Task 1.3 Site Walkthrough — Spohn Ranch and the Client will conduct a site walkthrough to review existing <br />conditions, photograph the site and discuss opportunities and constraints. <br />• Task 1.3 Deliverable <br />o Walkthrough Minutes (PDF) <br />Task 1.4 75% Design Development — Incorporating feedback from the Project Kick -Off Meeting, Spohn <br />Ranch will prepare a conceptual design.
