Local Arrest Record ChecksExisting Fee: None Proposed Fee: $22.00 Title 5 of the United States Code section 9101 and California Penal Code section 13300(f) allows local law enforcement agencies to charge a reasonable fee for providing criminal history information. This new fee would apply to security clearance requests from federal law enforcement agencies, such as the Department of Defense. The fee will cover staff time in providing this service.
