AESCO <br />AESCO Proposal No. P6513 <br />Statement of Qualifications <br />Metrolink Parking Structure 10range Transportation <br />Center, Orange, CA <br />AESCO performed the materials testing and inspections and environmental engineering for <br />the new Metrolink parking structure at the Orange Transportation Center located at 130 <br />North Lemon Street, Orange, CA. The new structure is 5 stories high with 2 subterranean <br />levels and provides parking for 611 vehicles. AESCO performed the reviews for shoring <br />plans, mix designs and mill certificates for post -tension elevated slabs. AESCO also <br />performed environmental engineering which consisted of soil sampling for site <br />characterization, air monitoring for dust mitigation, remediation oversight, soil confirmation <br />sampling for remediation closeout, and Emergency UST abandonment. Soil sampling was <br />performed to test for creosote and hydrocarbons at the location of old subsurface railroad ties <br />and at other random locations for clean-up verification. A crack monitoring program was <br />also implemented to ensure that no damage occurred to existing structures in the area of <br />construction. The materials testing and inspection included shotcrete, grading, post - <br />tensioning, reinforced concrete, tie -backs, welding, rebar, mortar, footings, epoxy dowels, <br />prestressed concrete, grout, drilled -in anchors, and compaction. <br />Project Highlights: <br />.
