The original purchase of these vehicles pre-date the equipment <br />replacement policy that Fleet implemented to begin setting aside funds for the eventual <br />replacement of the vehicles. <br />The SAPD was authorized with a one-time allocation of funds to replace a few vehicles <br />as part of the FY 2022-23 annual budget process. These new Colorado Crew Cab Long <br />Bed trucks will replace four Ford Ranger vehicles and one Ford Escape. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on September 27, 2022 on the City’s online bid <br />and management publication system. A summary of the Invitation for Bid and bids <br />received is as follows: <br />Vendors notified 208 <br />Santa Ana vendors notified 1 <br />Vendors downloaded the bid packet 8 <br />Bids received 1 <br />Bids received from Santa Ana vendors 0 <br />Bids were solicited, opened on November 30, 2022, and evaluated.
