The Project includes <br />bicycle and pedestrian pathways, drought tolerant landscaping, <br />lighting, waste receptacles, seating, interpretive signage, all <br />installations, and a stormwater infiltration system that will capture <br />and infiltrate stormwater runoff form the surrounding neighborhood. <br />PROJECT NEED: <br />The abandoned street area at the intersection of King Street and 10th <br />Street is unused and is subject to illegal dumping. The Project will <br />beautify this public space and provide benefits to the surrounding <br />community. The Project will also help improve water quality, enhance <br />local water supply, and reduce flooding via the infiltration of stormwater <br />runoff.
