Shut <br />down of critical public facilities for more than 1 week and less than <br />1 month. <br />Catastrophic <br />Severe property damage (greater than 50% of critical and non- <br />critical facilities and infrastructure). Injuries and illnesses result in <br />permanent disability and multiple deaths. <br />Shut down of critical public facilities for more than 1 month. <br />4 <br />Warning <br />Time <br />> 24 hours Population will receive greater than 24 hours of warning. 1 <br />15% 12–24 hours Population will receive between 12-24 hours of warning. 2 <br />6-12 hours Population will receive between 6-12 hours of warning. 3 <br />< 6 hours Population will receive less than 6 hours of warning. 4 <br />Duration <br />< 6 hours Disaster event will last less than 6 hours 1 <br />10% < 24 hours Disaster event will last less than 6-24 hours 2 <br />< 1 week Disaster event will last between 24 hours and 1 week. 3 <br />> 1 week Disaster event will last more than 1 week 4 <br />
