Garry <br />Avenue. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />1. Adopt a resolution denying Appeal Application Nos. 2022-01 and 2022-02 and <br />upholding the determination of the Planning Commission to approve Conditional <br />Use Permit No. 2022-14 as conditioned, and <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2022-01 <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />Rob Mitchell (Applicant), representing Greenlaw Partners (Property Owner), is requesting <br />approval of two entitlements for the Garry Avenue Business Park, a 91,500-square foot <br />industrial structure proposed at 1700, 1720, and 1740 East Garry Avenue. Specifically, <br />the applicant is requesting approval an Amendment Application (AA) to change the <br />property's zoning district from Professional (P) to Light Industrial (M1), and a conditional <br />use permit (CUP) to allow distribution uses. The request is being recommend for approval <br />because the project has been designed to minimize impacts onto surrounding properties, <br />will satisfy a growing need for warehousing and distribution services in the region, and <br />will provide investment in an existing industrial/office area of the City. <br />
