16 <br />A. SWORN ONLY <br />Sworn employees may only qualify for one (1) Education Incentive Level at one <br />time and not intended to be compounded with one another. <br />1. Level 1 - A sworn employee who successfully obtains their Supervisory <br />POST certificate, shall be paid at a rate set approximately five percent <br />(5%) above their then current base monthly salary step (cap=5%). <br />2. Level 2 - A sworn employee who successfully obtains their Supervisory <br />POST AND California Command College OR FBI National Academy <br />shall be paid at approximately ten percent (10%) above their then current <br />base monthly salary step (cap=10%). <br />3. Level 3 - A sworn employee who attains their MA/MS Degree AND <br />Supervisory POST shall be paid at approximately ten percent (10%) above <br />their then current base monthly salary step (cap=10%). <br />4. Level 4 - A sworn employee who attains their MA/MS Degree AND <br />Supervisory POST AND California Command College OR FBI National <br />Academy shall be paid at approximately fifteen percent (15%) above their <br />then current base monthly salary step (cap=15%). <br />B. NON-SWORN <br />1. A non-sworn employee who successfully attains a Masters of Art or <br />Master of Science degree shall be paid at a rate set approximately five <br />percent (5%) above their then current base monthly salary step (cap=5%).
