<br />Tamim Atayee, PE, F.ASCE, Senior Project Manager
<br />Mr. Atayee is a registered professional engineer with 31 years of
<br />experience. Tamim works as a technical expert for grant applications
<br />that involve expertise in hydraulics, hydrology, water resource
<br />engineering, flood hazard mitigation, scour, sediment transport and
<br />stormwater management. He is a skilled designer and a capable
<br />manager and has authored many technical papers. Mr. Atayee is
<br />experienced in both numerical and physical modeling of hydraulic
<br />problems and has, amongst other things, developed hydrology and
<br />hydraulics software used as standards in the industry. As a
<br />subcontractor to the Western US Technical Evaluation Contractor to
<br />FEMA, he reviewed several map revision processes, such as Letters
<br />of Map Revisions, for projects that impacted flood hazard areas. On
<br />the other end of the process, as the technical representative for
<br />applicants, he successfully secured approval of several map revisions
<br />for land developers, public agencies, and mine property owners.
<br />Tamim’s expertise and knowledge assist us in preparation of high-
<br />quality technical reports for grant applications that result in minimal
<br />comments and expedited review of applications.
