STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />Christine Rose, Senior Associate: Christine brings a variety of experience <br />and knowledge to TPA, including five years of experience in public policy and <br />four years of experience in higher education. Christine has grant writing <br />experience in areas such as education, cultural resources, public health, and <br />transportation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Townsend Public Affairs, Inc. <br />Senior Associate 2022 – Present <br /> <br />Since joining TPA, Christine has worked with clients to identify their funding needs and develop <br />competitive proposals. She has identified new and strategic funding resources, bringing her clients’ <br />proposals from idea to reality. Her work includes: <br /> <br />• Christine works to create accessible grant writing and development tools for clients such as <br />grant tracking matrices and application breakdowns. These tools allow clients to access key <br />strategic funding opportunities, develop comprehensive and competitive proposals, and <br />ultimately secure grant funding. <br /> <br />• Christine works closely with clients to understand and meet their funding goals. Her <br />collaboration with clients allows her to craft persuasive narratives and strong grant proposals. <br />She is always researching and identifying new funding opportunities that fit the goals and <br />objectives of her clients. <br /> <br />California State Assembly <br />Legislative Director 2018 – 2022 <br /> <br />Christine worked as the lead member of the Twenty-third Assembly District’s legislative team <br />representing portions of Fresno and Tulare Counties. Her primary responsibilities included crafting the <br />Assembly member’s legislative package and shepherding all bills through the legislative process, as <br />well as identifying budget priorities and staffing those requests. Christine was responsible for <br />monitoring all legislation passing through the Member’s committees and the Assembly Floor, analyzing <br />each bill and making an appropriate recommendation. She had numerous bills signed into law and <br />multiple budget requests included in the state budget. <br /> <br />California State Assembly <br />Legislative Aide 2017 – 2018 <br /> <br />Christine worked as a member of the Seventy-seventh Assembly District’s legislative team <br />representing San Diego County. Christine’s primary responsibilities included carrying multiple bills <br />through the legislative process as well as monitoring, reviewing, and making recommendations on <br />legislation passing through the Assembly member’s committees.
