Agreement with Casa De La Familia for the Santa Ana Family Justice Center <br />June 21, 2022 <br />Page 2 <br />Specialist also acts as a spokesperson for media requests and collaborate with the <br />National Family Justice Center Alliance on various initiatives. <br />On February 16, 2022, the Police Department issued Request for Proposals (RFP) No. <br />22-022 to select an organization for a new three-year agreement with two one-year <br />renewal options. The RFP was advertised on the City's online procurement management <br />and publication system, with proposals due on March 16, 2022. One proposal was <br />received from Casa de la Familia (CDLF), the current provider. <br />CDLF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing counseling services <br />to victims of psychological trauma for over 22 years. They are also an on -site partner of <br />the SAFJC, providing a full-time domestic violence advocate. The previous agreement <br />with CDLF expired on December 31, 2021. During the last six months, the Police <br />Department has been working on renewing the agreement for operations specialist <br />services by issuing an RFP and negotiating terms with CDFL. During this time, CDFL has <br />continued to provide the same level of service to the SAFJC at the same monthly cost as <br />the prior agreement.
