City of La Mesa <br />Emergency Operatio-fijF�Center & Conference Rooms <br />Key Project Features <br />• 3x3 Video Wall using 45" <br />Samsung LCD Panels <br />• 75" to 85" Displays <br />• USB HD PTZ Camera <br />• Control System with a 15.6" <br />Touch Panel <br />• Digital Signal Processor for <br />Audio Control <br />• Phone Interface <br />Project Description <br />Western Audio Visual & Security was awarded the design -build project for the City of La Mesa Emergency Operations Center <br />(EOC) and conference room project. <br />Western AVS installed a 3 x 3 video wall comprised of nine (9) 45" Samsung LCD panels. Additionally, three (3) 75" displays <br />and two (2) 85" displays were installed within the EOC. The video wall and additional five (5) displays in the room can <br />display any of the twenty-five (25) different input sources specified for this room. A USB HD PTZ camera is connected to the <br />desktop PC at the lectern to use during web-conferencing. This camera works with any web-conferencing platform (Zoom, <br />Teams, Skype, WebEx, etc.). <br />The entire system is controlled by a 15.6" Crestron touch panel. A new digital signal processor (DSP) was installed to <br />control all volume functions and equalize the audio for best overall sound. A phone interface in the DSP will allow users to <br />dial phone calls from the touch panel in the EOC and use the wireless microphones and room audio for EOC activation or for <br />larger groups of users. <br />Western AVS installed a 75" display in the conference room that can show up to five (5) different input sources, including an <br />overflow feed from the EOC. The conference room is controlled by a 10" Crestron touch panel.
