QC CHILDREN'S <br />THERAPEUTIC AR TS <br />2215 N Broadway• Santa Ana, CA 92706 • 714.547.5468 • Fax 714.564.9690 • www.occtac.org <br />Purpose: <br />Procedures: <br />Supportive Services Policies and Procedures <br />WIOA Program 2022 -2023 <br />To establish guidelines for the issuance of supportive services to pai1icipants who are <br />identified in need of such services. Goal is to aid pai1icipants with their successful <br />completion of their WIOA goals and OCCTAC's WIOA program. <br />Eligibility: <br />Supp011ive services are available to those identified as approved WIOA pai1icipants; <br />have limited resources to meet basic needs; and have expressed the need of <br />additional supp011 to OCCTAC's WIOA Program staff. <br />Supportive services will be made available to pai1icipants while they are emailed in <br />all phases of the WIOA program. These services are contingent upon approval by the <br />Program Coordinator and OCCT AC Director. Provision of suppo11ive service is not <br />an entitlement. <br />Delivery of supportive services will be made in-person or to the WIOA pa11icipant's <br />personal email or mailing address if available and in cases where in-person delivery <br />is shown to be difficult for the WIOA participant and staff. <br />Availability of Funds and Assessment of Need: <br />The fiscal advisor or the accounting clerk and the Executive Director will verify the <br />availability of funds and notify the Program Coordinator. Suppo11ive services are <br />delivered contingent upon availability of funds, the need of the pat1icipant and given <br />on a first come, first serve basis. <br />Initial assessment on need will be determined by the Case Manager and will be <br />reviewed regularly. Logs of services will be kept on a regular basis and service(s) <br />will also be case noted for documentation purposes. <br />Transportation Assistance Guidelines: <br />After identifying the need for transp011ation assistance and eliminating other <br />resources, the case manager and the pa11icipant will develop a service plan (ISS) and <br />update progress in the case notes. <br />Transportation assistance is defined as the provision of a gas card; bus pass or <br />ACCESS coupon book. <br />Attachment A Revised: 05/07/2021 <br />EXHIBIT 1
