These complaints must be filed directly with the WIOA administrative <br />entity. The WIOA administrative entity shall issue a written decision within 30 days of <br />the filing of the complaint. If the complaint is still unresolved, an appeal may be made <br />to the Chief of State Workforce Investment Division Office. <br />The Department of Labor, the Civil Service Commission, the Equal Employment <br />Opportunity Commission, and many other offices and agencies are committed to <br />assuring equal employment opportunities for all persons. They will protect you. <br />A case may be taken to court if the other processes do not yield satisfactory results. <br />You may hire your own lawyer, or if you cannot afford one, the court may appoint one <br />for you. <br />It is unlawful for an employer, union, or employment agency to punish you or any <br />witness for attempting to present the facts in a case. <br />B.Crimi nal Complaints <br />YOUR CIVIL RIGHTS UNDER THE <br />WORKFORCE INNOVATION OPPORTUNITY ACT <br />Santa Ana Local Workforce Development Area <br />801 W.
