SA-2 Pressure Control Station Relocation <br />and Transmission Main Improvements <br />RFP No. 21-127 <br />PROJECT TEAM <br />Tetra Tech has assembled a project team that possesses the knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm <br />necessary to successfully complete this project within schedule and under budget, and not only meet, <br />but exceed your expectations. Below is a brief summary of our Project Manager, key design staff and <br />subconsultants. The following pages include our organizational chart of our Project Team and summary <br />table of staff qualifications and experience. <br />Project ManagE <br />Tom Epperson, PE, will serve the City as Tetra Tech's Project Manager for this project. Mr. Epperson <br />has more than 41 years of experience in the water field and has been responsible for the design of over <br />200 miles of water, recycled water and sewer mains. Tom will be the focal point for communications <br />between the City and members of the project team to ensure that the project needs are clearly spelled <br />out and understood. Mr. Epperson will be responsible for achieving the City's stated goals and <br />ensuring compliance with project intent, completeness of the final deliverables, and satisfaction of the <br />City. Tom has been working with the City since 1983. While his knowledge of the City facilities and <br />working relationship with the City staff started in 1983, Mr. Epperson has been currently supporting the <br />City on the On -Call Engineering Design Services since 2006 and has been involved in over 40 past <br />projects through this contract. Tom has a long personal history of working with the City and is very <br />proud of the repeat service. He believes strongly that repeat work is earned through responsiveness, <br />hard work, and providing a quality product at a reasonable cost. <br />Kpv npsian Staff <br />Tetra Tech has assigned a supporting staff that have previously worked on several of the latest projects <br />for the City (i.e., Well 32 Rehabilitation; SA-7 Relocation; Ritchey Water Main Relocation; Water Main <br />Improvements; SA-2 Feasibility Study; and SA-1 Hydro -Generator Replacement). The following are the <br />key staff leaders: Assistant Project Manager, Neha Gajjar, PE; Pressure Reducing Station Facility, <br />Matt Vera, PE; Pipeline, Erin Cabanero, PE; Structural, Eric Yuen, PE, SE; MWD Coordination <br />and Construction Support, Cory Heggtveit, EIT; and Water Quality Management Plan, Nate <br />Schreiner, PE, QSD. Summaries of their education, years of experience, registration, and relevant <br />projects are stated in the staff qualifications and experience table. <br />Mazen Kassar, PE, will be the Project Manager for Electrical and Controls. Mazen is very familiar with <br />the City's electrical and control design requirements due to his previous design of Well 32 <br />Rehabilitation, SA-7 Relocation and is current work on the SA-1 Hydro -Generator Replacement. In <br />addition, he will be supported by Enterprise Automation, a recent acquired Tetra Tech Company, that is <br />one of the City's Control System Design Programmers. <br />Jason Fussel, PE, a Envision Sustainability Professional, will serve the City as Tetra Tech's Project <br />Manager for the Envision Certification this project. Jason has successfully been awarded or pursuing <br />Gold Certification on six projects in Southern California. <br />Subconcliltant, <br />In order to provide all of the services required for this project, we have added the following <br />subconsultants to our team: Leighton Consulting, Inc. for Geotechnical Services; and Scott Foster <br />Engineering, Inc. for Transient Analysis. Tetra Tech has worked with both of these subconsultants on <br />various other projects for several years. It should be noted that Scott Foster, PE, of Scott Foster <br />Engineering has performed surge analysis on over 15 different MWD pipelines so he understands the <br />analysis and results that MWD desires. <br />TETRA TECH Page 12 <br />
