City Attorney Office <br />http://citydesk/ca/ <br />Item # 22 <br />or City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Staff Report <br />May 17, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Amendment to Agreement with Blue Technologies Smart Solutions for Access <br />and Support Services for iManage Data Management Systems <br />AGENDA TITLE: <br />Approve an Amendment to the Agreement with Blue Technologies Smart Solutions for <br />Access and Support Services for iManage Data Management Systems (General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the agreement with Blue <br />Technologies Smart Solutions ("BlueTech") to provide increased data storage for <br />continued access and support services for the iManage Data Management Systems <br />("iManage") for the remaining period of August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2024, increasing <br />the annual billing amount by $4,800 for years two and three, for $30,050 annually, for the <br />iManage System, and increasing the total not -to -exceed amount of the agreement to <br />$95,350, which includes a $10,000 contingency, subject to non -substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City's Attorney's Office ("CAO")'s utilization of the iManage Data Management <br />Systems reflects not only the vast scope of services provided by the office, but also the <br />growing use of electronic data including the storage supporting documents required for <br />legal services requested from the City's varied departments for use in litigation and <br />transactional services. The increased data storage will allow CAO to store and access <br />larger data sets, which have become more prevalent as technologies improve, and the <br />means required to access those materials evolve. <br />The iManage system, technical support, performance with our office, and overall <br />reliability, continues to provide the best resource for legal data management system for <br />CAO in the coming years. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />
