(VCA Code) <br />Transtech Engineers, Inc.TRB & Associates <br />True North Compliance Services West Coast Code Consultants, Inc. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On November 5, 2019, the City Council approved agreements with 14 consulting firms to <br />provide the City with as-needed Building Safety Division services with an aggregated not- <br />to-exceed $2,400,000 for a period of three years, ending November 5, 2022. <br />Development activity in the City has been trending upward since 2011 and the high permit <br />activity has been sustained even through the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Planning and <br />Building Agency remained open for business to allow construction and development to <br />continue and flourish. Building activity in the City remains at a high level and the approval <br />of agreements with on-call consultants would allow for expedited customer services <br />through plan check services that the building community is requesting.
