Reclining Rubber Bullet Trap Maintenance <br />Lead Mining <br />•HCI Environmental to provide lead certified workers, and equipment to provide <br />Annual leadmining of the firing ranges. <br />o Year 1-Upper range only <br />o Year 2-Upper and lower ranges <br />o Year 3-Upper range only <br />•Santa Ana Police Department, personnel will lockout/tag out HVAC firing range <br />units before work commences. <br />•Post lead warning signage and set up containment area with 2 layers of 6 mil <br />poly plastic and seal all critical barriers. <br />•HCI Environmental shall complete the separation of the rubber material from the <br />lead material and re-packing the bullet trap/hopper with recycled rubber material. <br />•HCI Environmental shall extract lead from the rubber material using removal <br />techniques that shall ensure decontamination procedures are in compliance with <br />CAL OSHA and EPA Hazardous Waste control law <br />•HCI Environmental to shovel and rake rubber media to re-create factory <br />specification slope angle for the bullet trap. <br />•HCI Environmental will use extra bags of rubber material to unsure proper angle. <br />•HCI Environmental to apply a surface coat of fire retardant powder over rubber <br />media. <br />•HCI Environmental shall clean lead contaminated equipment on the indoor <br />firearm range. <br />•HCI Environmental shall remove bullet material from premises. <br />•Manifest, label, profile, transport and dispose and containerize lead contaminted <br />waste in UN approved containers for transportation/disposal. <br />•We estimate the scope of work to be completed in 5 working day with 4 techs for <br />each range. <br />•Labor for this project will be based on prevailing wages. <br />•All lead remediation will be handled according to local, state and federal <br />regulation <br />•Hazardous Waste transportation and disposal to include the following: <br />4 Tri wall boxes lead contaminated debris <br />2-55g- open top metal drums for lead contaminated debris
