DEPOSITION AND COURT TESTIMONY <br />Ms. Mamaux has provided expert testimony at trial and arbitration in various California and <br />Federal jurisdictions. She has also provided deposition testimony on numerous occasions <br />pertaining to her opinions of business value, loss of goodwill, and economic damages. Details <br />pertaining to her testimony experience are available upon request. <br />RESUME OF KEVIN BLAIR, ASA <br />PARTNER <br />GOODWILL APPRAISAL <br />PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND <br />Mr. Blair joined DM&A in 2006 and became a Partner in 2021. He has prepared hundreds of <br />goodwill loss appraisals for a variety of clients throughout California including Caltrans, <br />California High Speed Rail Authority, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, <br />Orange County Transportation Authority, San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, Riverside <br />County Transportation Commission, and San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, <br />among others. <br />The businesses appraised by Mr. Blair over the past 15 years span across the retail, <br />commercial, agricultural, and industrial sectors, including the appraisal of the loss of goodwill of <br />billboards, gas stations, liquor stores, restaurants, auto repair facilities, auto and truck <br />dealerships, metal fabrication shops, rail and trucking services, bank branches, <br />wholesale/distribution centers, waste collection, hotels/motels, and machining shops. <br />Mr. Blair has been designated as an expert with regards to loss of goodwill in various eminent <br />domain matters. Additionally, he has participated in mediations and provided litigation support <br />services. At DM&A, Mr. Blair has managed projects encompassing fixtures and equipment and <br />goodwill loss appraisals for numerous businesses within an acquisition area. He also <br />spearheads the firm's responses to public agencies' requests for proposals/qualifications. <br />Mr. Blair has given presentations to various IRWA chapters and attorney groups. The subject of <br />the presentations have included Goodwill 101; Business Damages and Partial Acquisitions; <br />Acquiring Commercial Property: When Appraisal and Relocation Issues Overlap; Expert Insights <br />on Eminent Domain Trials; and Appraisal in the COVID Era. <br />In additional to eminent domain related appraisal services, Mr. Blair has completed business <br />valuation assignments for a variety of tax and litigation purposes, including, gift and estate tax, <br />bankruptcy/receivership, partnersh1plcorporate dissolution, marital dissolution, economic <br />damages, fraud, and breach of contract. He has been engaged on projects by financial <br />institutions and intermediaries to advise on transactions and financing. <br />EDUCATION <br />Mr. Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Claremont McKenna College (2006). He majored <br />in economics with a leadership sequence. <br />PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS <br />Mr. Blair is a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers in the Business Valuation <br />discipline. <br />nnM <br />
