RFQ For On -Call Demolition Service <br />MACRO-Z-TECHNOLOGY <br />Understanding of Need <br />Outline demonstrating MZT's understanding of the work. Identification of assumptions and exclusions used in preparing the scope of work <br />and associated fee estimate. <br />1.1 Understanding of the Work <br />Macro-Z-Technology Company (MZT) understands the City of Santa Ana's <br />®® <br />(City) need for an on -call contractor for the demolition and abatement work <br />MZT is a Minority -owned <br />anticipated under this contract. We will respond within 5 business days. As we process our <br />response, we will coordinate with the City to visit the site, obtain as -built documents, and review any other City <br />provided documentation (e.g., asbestos or lead hazard reports). We'll review documentation before the site <br />visit so that we're well prepared. We'll provide the City with a fee proposal to complete the work along with any <br />other documentation requested by the City in the Request for Quote. This documentation could include a <br />description of work and a schedule from NTP to TO completion. <br />1.2.2 Phase 2: Pre -Demolition Preparation & Mobilization <br />With the City's acceptance of our TO Quote and issuance of NTP, we will begin planning the work. This <br />includes: <br />• Holding a preconstruction meeting with the City to confirm expectations, site contacts, and schedule <br />• Obtaining a demolition permit <br />
