I. INTRODUCTION / PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br /> Nature of Work: <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency (City) desires to enter into an agreement with <br />a qualified consulting firm to lead efforts to renovate the historic Santa Ana Main Library. <br /> <br /> Number of Proposals and Signature: <br /> <br /> Five (5) hard copies are required to accompany an electronic submittal of the complete <br /> proposal package on PlanetBids. One of the hard copies shall be marked as “ORIGINAL” <br /> and be signed by a company official with the power to bind the company, and <br /> submitted to the City of Santa Ana. Please be explicit in identifying the appropriate <br /> person with legal authority to bind the company. <br /> <br />The Statement of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum of (10) double -sided <br /> pages (excluding front and back covers, section dividers and attachments such as <br /> resumes, forms). Font size shall be minimum 11-point Arial. Proposal exhibits shall be <br /> maximum 11” x 17”. <br /> <br /> Proposal Evaluation and Rating: <br /> <br />The criteria for evaluating the RFP submitted will take the following items into <br />consideration: <br /> Firm/Team Experience 25% <br /> Understanding of Need 30% <br /> Relevant Project Experience 30% <br /> Schedule of Delivery 10% <br /> References 5% <br /> <br /> The City has established a proposal review committee to evaluate proposers based on the <br /> response to this RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, and the <br /> City evaluation criteria set forth above. A final score will be calculated for each <br /> submitted proposal and used to rank the proposers. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />EXHIBIT - B
