<br />City of Santa Ana - 41 - 2022 Annual Action Plan <br /> <br />Goal Name Description <br />Program Administration and Fair <br />Housing Services <br />Ensure the management of a compliant and efficient HUD programs and provide funding <br />to promote the implementation of fair housing services and activities throughout the City. <br />Affordable Housing Development, <br />Maintenance, and Preservation <br />Provide funding for the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation and provision of affordable <br />rental and ownership housing. <br />Code Enforcement Support code enforcement activities to ensure residential properties are safe and suitable <br />for habitation <br />Economic Development Support workforce training and development and business assistance via training, <br />technical assistance and general support to microbusinesses operating in Santa Ana. <br />Public Service Programs Working with local and regional nonprofits and service providers, Santa Ana will provide <br />funding to ensure the provision of critical services and activities to low- and moderate- <br />income residents and special needs populations throughout the City. <br />Homeless Services and Facilities Working together with local and regional stakeholders, Santa Ana will continue to <br />promote the implementation of a cohesive and coordinated homeless system. In doing <br />so, Santa Ana will invest in projects that ensure that homeless households from all sub- <br />populations are supported to return to permanent housing as quickly as possible; receive <br />strength-based services that emphasize recovery, as needed; receive only what they <br />need to be returned to housing quickly and to be as self-reliant as possible; and are <br />assisted in preventing homeless from occurring in the first place. <br />Public Facilities and Infrastructure In collaboration with other city agencies, rehabilitate public facilities and streets to <br />increase ADA accessibility, improve facilities and infrastructure to better meet the needs <br />of residents, and implement measures to mitigate and reduce vandalism and graffiti in <br />the City. <br />Table 7 - Goals Description <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 1
