<br />City of Santa Ana - 45 - 2022 Annual Action Plan <br /> <br />Description Provide funding and resources to the Fair Housing Council of <br />Orange County to promote fair housing and combat housing <br />discrimination within the City of Santa Ana. The Fair Housing <br />Services Program will provide fair housing education, counseling, <br />and enforcement services to Santa Ana residents. This program <br />helps the City to comply with HUD’s regulatory requirements to <br />affirmatively further fair housing and includes counseling on <br />landlord/tenant law and other aspects of housing. <br />Target Date 6/30/2023 <br />Estimate the number <br />and type of families <br />that will benefit from <br />the proposed activities <br />500 persons assisted through various fair housing activities. <br />Location Description Citywide <br />Planned Activities Provide funding for administrative and program staff to complete fair <br />housing education, tenant counseling, and fair housing enforcement <br />activities in Santa Ana. <br />3 Project Name CDBG Code Enforcement <br />Target Area n/a – The City does not use target areas for CPD funding <br />Goals Supported Code Enforcement <br />Needs Addressed Preserve the supply of affordable housing <br />Funding CDBG: $800,000 <br />Description Support the Community Preservation Division’s goal of improving <br />neighborhoods through a number of facets including enforcement of <br />laws that create life safety risks and contribute to neighborhood <br />blight. <br />Target Date 6/30/2023 <br />Estimate the number <br />and type of families <br />that will benefit from <br />the proposed activities <br />2,500 households will benefit from this proposed activity. <br />EXHIBIT 1
