Page 1 of 2 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS SERIVCES, <br />INC., FOR GRANT WRITING SERVICES <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above-referenced agreement is entered into April 5, 2022, by and <br />between Engineering Solutions Services, Inc., a California corporation (“Consultant”), and the City of Santa <br />Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the <br />State of California (“City”). <br />RECITALS <br />A.The parties entered into Agreement No. A-2017-224 (“Agreement”) dated August 15, 2017, to <br />retain Consultant to provide on-call water and sewer programs grant writing services for the City <br />of Santa Ana’s Public Works Agency. <br />B.The Agreement was extended on June 8, 2020 and is current and in-effect through August 15, 2022. <br />C.The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase compensation. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1.Section 2, Compensation, is hereby amended to increase the total sum available to be expended under <br />this Agreement from $107,500 to $182,500.00. <br />2.Except as modified by this First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement, shall remain <br />in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to the Agreement on <br />the date and year first written above. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />______________________________ <br />KRISTINE RIDGE <br />City Manager <br />ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS SERVICES, <br />INC. <br />_______________________________ <br />Sudi Shoja <br />ATTEST <br />_______________________________ <br />DAISY GOMEZ <br />Clerk of the Council <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br />SONIA R.
