Comprehensive General <br />Plan Update <br />Begin outreach to the public, development <br />community, and stakeholders to develop <br />the vision and guiding principles for the <br />General Plan. Explore best practices for <br />General Plan updates and innovative <br />community engagement. Issue a request <br />for proposal and/or request for <br />qualifications and select a consultant to <br />conduct a comprehensive General Plan <br />update. <br />2014 The City began a comprehensive update of the General Plan in 2015. The update effort <br />started with rollout of a Community Engagement Plan which included over 50 community <br />meetings and numerous workshops. The comprehensive General Plan update is <br />underway and expected to be completed in 2022.
