Child Care Options Review Zoning Code to ensure <br />day/childcare provisions are consistent with <br />state laws; consider incentives for co- <br />locating childcare facilities in affordable <br />housing projects. Continue funding <br />organizations that help address and meet <br />the supportive service needs of Santa <br />Ana’s children. <br />2014 & Ongoing As part of comprehensive Zoning Code update requirement and incentives for the <br />provision of day care services will be evaluated.In 2021,the City funded several <br />programs that serve low-income youth in Santa Ana,including recreation programs,after <br />school programming, tutoring, and arts activities. <br />54. Multi-Generational <br />Housing <br />Explore crafting development standards <br />and site designs, offering incentives, or <br />including additional flexibility to promote <br />innovative models of multigenerational <br />housing. <br />2016 Through the Development Project Review process, City staff continues to evaluate floor <br />plans to ensure they meet development standards, serve residents' needs, and provide a <br />balanced design to promote quality housing. In addition, in 2019, the City processed over <br />100 applications for the creation of accessory dwelling units, which constributre to the <br />production of multi-generational housing opportunities.
