I. INTRODUCTION / PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Nature of Work: <br />The City of Santa Ana is seeking qualified on -call contractor(s) to provide traffic control <br />services and equipment as directed by the City of Santa Ana. The City reserves the right <br />to enter into fewer, or more agreements, and to issue several or no task orders to each <br />contractor, as determined by the City's needs. Attachment 1 includes a detailed Scope <br />of Work in this RFP's Appendix. <br />Number of Proposals and Signature: <br />Five (5) hard copies are required to accompany an electronic submittal of the complete <br />proposal package on PlanetBids. One of the hard copies shall be marked as "ORIGINAL" <br />and be signed by a company official with the power to bind the company, and <br />submitted to the City of Santa Ana. Please be explicit in identifying the appropriate <br />person with legal authority to bind the company. <br />The Statement of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum of (10) double -sided <br />pages (excluding front and back covers, section dividers and attachments such as <br />resumes, forms). Font size shall be minimum 11-point Arial. Proposal exhibits shall be <br />maximum I I" x 17". <br />Proposal Evaluation and Rating_ <br />The criteria for evaluating the RFP submitted will take the following items into <br />consideration: <br />• Company and Team Experience <br />25% <br />• Understanding of Need <br />25% <br />• Financial Capacity and Availability <br />20% <br />• Schedule of Delivery <br />10% <br />• References <br />10% <br />• Fee (Separate Sealed Envelope) <br />10% <br />The City has established a proposal review committee to evaluate proposers based on the <br />response to this RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, and the <br />City evaluation criteria set forth above.
