LR 12.21.21 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022-xx <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CITY’S UNIFORM <br />SCHEDULE OF MISCELLANEOUS FEES FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2021-2022 SPECIFIC TO PARK FACILITY <br />PERMITS AND FILM PERMITS <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A.Each year, for the convenience of the public, the City Council gathers in a <br />single document a comprehensive listing of fees and service charges <br />imposed by the City upon th ose persons seeking services of value from <br />the City. <br />B.This document is known as the “Miscellaneous Fee Schedule” for Fiscal <br />Year 2021-2022 and is on file in the Clerk of the Council office, and <br />incorporated by this reference. <br />C.The Miscellaneous Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2021 -2022 was adopted <br />on June 1, 2021 by way of Resolution No. 2021 -027. <br />F.On September 15, 2020, the City Council received and approved the <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency (“PRCSA”) Service <br />and Financial Sustainability Study that adopted new methodologies and <br />tools for sustaining PRCSA services long term. <br />G.The PRCSA Cost Recovery Policy was adopted on November 17, 2020 by <br />way of Resolution No. 2020-083. <br />H.The PRCSA Event Policy is presented for adoption simultaneously with <br />this Resolution. <br />I.All of the aforementioned PRCSA policies and the study work together to <br />chart the future for the PRCSA to provide recreation and community <br />services to the City of Santa Ana. <br />J.The PRCSA is proposing to revise the park event permit, special event <br />permit, film permit, and land use certificate fees to be consistent with the <br />methodologies and tools set forth in the aforementioned policies and <br />study. In addition, as part of proposing this amendment to the <br />Miscellaneous Fee Schedule, PRCSA has analyzed the cost to administer <br />Exhibit 2
