He is an accomplished data <br />management practitioner overseeing engagements regarding data governance, data quality, and <br />data integration. Mr. Luzano is also an accomplished finance professional with demonstrated <br />ability performing financial analysis including, but not limited to Income Statement analysis, <br />Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cost Planning. Mr. Luzano has extensive Public Sector experience <br />working with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Utah Department of Transportation <br />(UDOT), and Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT). <br /> <br />Relevant Experience <br />Grant Thornton, Utah Department of Transportation – Grant Thornton is currently working with the <br />Utah DOT to implement an open data and business intelligence platform to provide them with an <br />analytical, reporting and dashboard management tool that provides transparency and actionable <br />information. This solution provides an integrated data storage, ETL and data visualization platform used <br />to facilitate functions with the agency and enables personnel at UDOT to perform their jobs more <br />efficiently. <br />Texas Department of Transportation – Grant Thornton was hired to provide TxDOT with EIM strategic <br />planning services including the development of an information management strategy and a 10-year <br />implementation roadmap to modernize TxDOT’s data management and analytics platform, as well as the <br />supporting projects and programs needed to help make such a platform successful. <br />Hawaii Department of Transportation – Grant Thornton is working to implement an open data and BI <br />platform for the Hawaii Department of Transportation in order to deliver actionable insights to <br />stakeholders throughout the agency using up-to-date, accurate data through a series of dashboards and <br />reports hosted on the cloud-based data portal. Grant Thornton’s efforts with HDOT include process <br />automation, data transformation, custom report development work and collaborating with leadership to <br />design and track Key Performance Indicators for the organization (KPIs).
