Ad Hoc Committees and Standing Subcommittees <br />City Manager’s Office <br />December 21, 2021 <br />Slide 4 <br />Charter Review Ad Hoc Committee <br />•Composed solely of up to three members of the City Council. <br />•Serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council. <br />•Studies, reviews, and/or discusses the following topics: <br />–Guide staff to research and analyze proposals to amend the City <br />Charter. <br />–Help coordinate community members, staff, and the City Council's <br />ideas with regard to potential Charter amendments. <br />–Formulate specific language for proposed Charter amendments in <br />a form appropriate for placement on the ballot. <br />–Prepare and submit proposed ballot arguments in favor of or <br />against proposed Charter amendments. <br />•Reports in intervals as needed <br />•Automatically dissolves upon the report to the full City Council
