Sunshine Ordinance <br />City Manager’s Office <br />November 16, 2021 <br />Slide 7 <br />Lobbyist Registration <br />•Implement a Lobbyist Registration Policy. <br />–The proposed policy includes the following: <br />•DEFINITION: “Lobbyist” is defined as a person or business entity that <br />received $250 or more in a calendar year for communicating, using <br />any means, with a City official or employee to influence current or <br />future City legislation, administrative decisions, City Council <br />elections, or local initiative measures. This includes an employee, <br />officer or director of an entity whose duties include communicating, <br />either directly or through an agent, with city officials or City <br />employees to influence any proposed or pending governmental, <br />legislative or administrative action of the City.
