<br /> E-3 Statement of Qualifications – On-Call Environmental Review Services for Housing Division <br />Pasadena Studios CEQA Exemption pursuant to PRC 21155.4 <br />(Senate Bill 743) <br />PASADENA, CA <br />Michael Baker prepared a CEQA Exemption, pursuant to Public <br />Resources Code Section 21155.4 (Senate Bill 743) for the Pasadena <br />Studios Project (project), which is an affordable housing project in the <br />City of Pasadena, California, which proposes to demolish existing <br />improvements on the 21,128 square foot project site, including six <br />residential structures, driveways, sidewalks, trees, fences, and a <br />concrete wall, and develop a six-story, 181-unit residential building. The <br />project would consist of a single, six-level structure that would include 180 single-room occupancy (SRO) residential units for income- <br />eligible adults and a single manager’s unit. The ground floor of the proposed structure would include 25 covered parking spaces (including <br />one accessible space and seven electrical vehicle parking spaces) located in the rear of the site, a mail room, a lobby/reception area, <br />electrical and mechanical equipment, an elevator bank, bicycle storage stalls, a garbage facility, as well as the manager’s office and one- <br />bedroom residential unit. <br />The project qualifies for an exemption from CEQA pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21155.4 (Senate Bill 743), which exempts <br />certain transit-oriented development projects from CEQA. <br />Key issues: Affordable housing development, transit-oriented development, CEQA PRC 21155.4 Exemption. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Year Completed: Approved March 2021 <br />Client: City of Pasadena <br />Contact: Amanda Landry, Senior Planner <br /> alandry@cityofpasadena.net <br /> 626.744.7137 <br />EXHIBIT 3
