<br />Principal
<br />Ms. Hansen has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and has
<br />contributed to a wide variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. She
<br />has developed a well-balance expertise in environmental compliance for a variety of
<br />development projects in addition to remediation projects, specializing in CEQA/NEPA
<br />compliance. She has developed a level of understanding required to clearly explain
<br />technical concepts and issues for public comprehension, particularly for projects that
<br />include complex technical analyses and controversial public policy and planning
<br />issues. As a Principal with Rincon, Ms. Hansen provides strategic guidance, project
<br />oversight, workload and personnel management, training, and serves as a client and
<br />agency liaison for projects located throughout California.
<br />Her major clients include state agencies, cities/counties throughout California, ports,
<br />developers of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects, major
<br />hospitals, museums and other cultural organizations, primary and secondary
<br />educational facilities. In addition, Ms. Hansen has developed sound working
<br />relationships with many state and local agencies along with a solid understanding of
<br />their practices, procedures, and preferences.
<br />SELECT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Principal, City of Santa Ana – Community Development Agency, Santa Ana
<br />Ms. Hansen is providing strategic guidance to the City of Santa Ana Community
<br />Development Agency. Rincon has prepared the environmental documentation for a
<br />variety of projects including affordable housing developments, parks projects and
<br />street improvements. Many of the projects include preparation of the environmental
<br />documentation required under NEPA, because the City sought federal funding for the
<br />repair work, which needs to be approved by the Department of Housing and Urban
<br />Development (HUD).
<br />Principal, City of Long Beach – On-call, Planning & Affordable Housing Consultant
<br />Services, Long Beach
<br />Ms. Hansen is providing strategic guidance to the City for environmental services
<br />(CEQA/NEPA), technical studies and planning staff services. Environmental services
<br />include preparing the appropriate documents for public and private development
<br />projects, peer review, preparation of compliance reports, provide expert testimony
<br />and provide coordination and consultation with major stakeholders and government
<br />agencies. Planning tasks include, but are not limited to, development of planning
<br />documents, update of City zoning code, attendance at public hearings and zoning
<br />audits.
<br />Project Director, City of Calabasas – On-Call Contract, City of Calabasas
<br />Ms. Hansen is the Project Director for ESA’s on-call contract with the City of Calabasas
<br />for CEQA document preparation, geotechnical studies, biological assessments and
<br />other technical reviews, review of proposed projects and documentation from other
<br />jurisdictions surrounding the City, and compliance monitoring and reporting
<br />regarding approved mitigation measures. ESA staff provides oak tree damage
<br />assessments for the code enforcement department, reviews tree reports prepared by
<br />City-approved arborists, and provides oak tree damage and appraisal reports.
